Job description

Fire Alarm Inspector
We are actively seeking motivated Fire Alarm Inspectors to join our team. We welcome applicants with or without prior experience, if you’re reliable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn, we want to hear from you. We look forward to reviewing your application!
Must have at least 6 months of experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform testing and inspection of fire alarm systems
  • Apply knowledge of NFPA 72 testing and inspection requirements
  • Document findings accurately and communicate clearly with the team
  • Safely climb ladders and operate lifts (comfortable working at heights)
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Work independently or as part of a team
  • Demonstrate strong technical and mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read and interpret schematics
  • Understand basic electrical concepts (switches, relays, inputs/outputs)
  • Diagnose issues such as ground faults, open circuits, and shorted circuits
  • Use a multi-meter and phone butt-set
  • Disable fire alarm panel NAC circuits when required
  • NICET I or II in Fire Alarm or Testing amp; Inspection is a plus, but not required
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Physically able to perform duties of the trade
  • If applicable, must have an honorable or general military discharge
  • Must pass a drug test
  • Candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. The ability to drive to job sites / work locations may be a requirement of this position. A motor vehicle record (MVR) check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
