Job description

P&K Stone is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Summer Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to support our accounting team during the summer. This temporary position is ideal for a college student or someone looking to gain office and accounting experience. The AP Assistant will help with invoice processing, filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Enter vendor invoices into NetSuite accurately and timely.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
  • Organize and file Accounts Payable documents.
  • Assist with vendor statement reconciliation.
  • Scan and upload invoices and supporting documents.
  • Respond to basic vendor inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records and confidentiality.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or currently enrolled in college (Accounting or Business preferred).
  • Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Previous office or accounting experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule
  • Part-time (20-30 hours per week)
