In this versatile, active role, you will manage daily plant cleanliness, handle general building maintenance, build shelving, repair fixtures, and perform shop painting tasks like repainting floor safety lines. If you bring a strong work ethic, basic handyman tool skills, and enjoy a predictable early morning schedule with weekends off, let's get you on the team!
Description for Maintenance Janitor:

• Perform routine commercial and industrial janitorial duties: sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing common areas, breakrooms, and restrooms.
• Execute light building and facility maintenance, including basic carpentry (assembling or building storage shelves) and small hardware repairs around the facility.
• Repaint floor safety lines, walkway markers, and touch-up interior/exterior facility surfaces as needed.
• Monitor, restock, and organize cleaning supplies, maintenance tools, and PPE inventory.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, structural hazards, or safety issues to facility leadership.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free shop aisles and adhere strictly to facility safety standards and PPE guidelines.

Details for Maintenance Janitor:

• Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00 / hour (Scaling based on handyman experience / DOE).
• Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Enjoy an early daytime routine with weekends OFF!).
• Location: Washougal, WA facility.
• Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path featuring long-term company stability.

Requirements for Maintenance Janitor:

• Prior experience in commercial janitorial, industrial cleaning, or general facility upkeep.
• Basic mechanical and handyman aptitude-comfortable using basic hand and power tools for simple repairs, building shelving, and painting lines.
• Physical capability to perform active labor-standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision.
• Exceptional record of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and a safety-first mindset.
