Job description

Experienced Handyman / Groundskeeper (5+ Years Construction Experience Required)

Location: In Person
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25.00–$35.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Join Our Team

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and experienced Handyman/Groundskeeper with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on construction experience. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, can work independently, and has experience maintaining residential or commercial properties.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of verifiable construction or handyman experience (required).
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction and property maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Complete light plumbing and basic electrical repairs.
  • Repair and install drywall, flooring, tile, trim, framing, and other carpentry work.
  • Perform concrete patching, sanding, painting, and finishing work.
  • Install household fixtures, appliances, doors, shelving, hardware, and other residential items.
  • Maintain the appearance of buildings, grounds, and outdoor areas.
  • Operate and safely use common hand tools and power tools.
  • Care for farm animals, including feeding and general daily maintenance as needed.
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies and be available for occasional on-call responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding completed work, materials needed, and project updates.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
