The Specialist, Warehouse Dock Fulfilment is primarily responsible for retrieving inventory and packing the merchandise for shipment.

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty.  Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. 

  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
  • Control and maintain all records required for accurate, on-time completion of shipments.
  • Work in a team environment to accomplish work assignments.
  • Receive inventory and check the merchandise’s quality and accuracy.
  • Efficiently wrap and pack merchandise with packing slip or order details for each shipment, while maintaining a quick and steady pace and not compromising accuracy.
  • Have all merchandise prepared accurately and ready for shipping on time.
  • Periodically use computers, email, scanners, and the warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory, create paperwork, or document reporting.
  • Support and promote company core values.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • A team player with a high level of energy and self-motivation.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and set priorities.
  • Must be mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high-stress environment.
  • Experience working in Freight Forwarding or Transportation industry preferred.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience.  However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
