Assists Sleep Tech Aide assists with patient arrival, preparation, and setup of patients scheduled for sleep
procedures.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Interacts with coworkers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Performs review of medical history, allergies, medications
  • Records and documents vital signs
  • Performs data entry into health record and sleep recording software
  • Assists technologist with measurement, preparation, and application of electrodes and sleep sensors
  • Assists technologist with sleep event notation and patient monitoring
  • Responds to patient needs
  • Prepares exam room and equipment for patient testing

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years in healthcare environment preferred
  • BLS/CPR
