SUMMARY
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing precision manufacturing team. This position is responsible for supporting the design, development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for complex fabricated components and assemblies. The ideal candidate has experience working in a machining or sheet metal manufacturing environment and is comfortable collaborating across engineering and production to improve efficiency, quality, and manufacturability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and modify components and multi-part assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods to support production efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges.
- Create and update engineering documentation, drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
- Support new product introductions and process improvements throughout the production lifecycle.
- Utilize ERP software to manage engineering data, bills of materials, and production-related information.
- Assist with CNC programming, sheet metal fabrication, or laser/turret programming as needed.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel during production activities.
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and manufacturing requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience preferred (less experience will be considered).
- Experience with SolidWorks, including multi-component assemblies, required.
- Manufacturing background involving machining, fabrication, or sheet metal.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design is highly desirable.
- Experience with CNC programming is a plus.
- Laser/turret programming experience is a plus.
- Dip brazing experience is a plus.
- Experience using ERP systems; Epicor experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
