Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology (EP) travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date: 09/14/2026. Assignment length: 17 weeks. Weekly pay: $3,137–$3,208 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 12-hour shifts. Setting: hospital-based EP lab. Travel - temporary assignment with on-call requirements per unit needs; primarily daytime hours with some late nights and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures, ensure equipment and instrumentation are ready, and assist with sterile field setup during studies and ablations as the circulator
- Monitor procedural readouts in real time and assist with lab analysis and interpretation, communicating any issues to the patient’s physician
- Support pacing implementation and implantation of temporary or permanent cardiac devices; assist anesthesia and document during study and ablations
- Maintain fluids for ablation catheters and assist with ablation equipment as needed
- Document documentation in Epic; ensure accurate modality of data capture and patient records
- Proactively coordinate room turnover, on-time starts, and unit staffing needs; collaborate with the Charge Nurse and vendors to ensure all team members and supplies are available for scheduled procedures
- Proficiency in moderate sedation required; knowledge of mapping and device systems is beneficial (e.g., Carto, EnSite/Precision, Rhythmia)
Requirements
- New York RN license (OLNY)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrophysiology or related cardiology settings
- Proficient in Epic documentation for procedures
- Proficient in moderate sedation
- Cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a hospital EP lab environment in Rochester, NY
