Job description

The Epic Ambulatory Manager will be primarily responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing various projects under the direction of the Director of IT, Regional VP of Finance, and Regional CEO. This person will also be responsible for leading staff and stakeholders through all phases of a project life cycle. The Epic Ambulatory Manager will assist with all revenue cycle tasks, end-user support, and build relationships with hospital leadership to ensure corporate and local initiatives are aligned.

Required qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Computer Science, or related field required or Bachelor’s degree and equivalent experience.
  2. Three (3) or more years of applicable work experience.
  3. Minimum two (3) years of experience working with Epic’s electronic medical record.
  4. Experience leading large teams of individuals and effectively managing staff/staff managers.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Experience managing multiple large scale, complex project at one time.
  2. Minimum four (4) years of experience with an integrated healthcare information system.
  3. Minimum four (4) years of experience in project management.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
