These roles can last from a single day to several months and are commonly used to cover short-term needs such as seasonal work, employee absences, or special projects. Temporary employees may be hired directly by a company or through a staffing agency. While temp jobs typically do not offer the same benefits as permanent positions, they can provide valuable work experience and a pathway to full-time employment.

Familiarity with common office software, time tracking systems, or industry-specific tools can be beneficial depending on the role. Strong communication, reliability, and a positive attitude help you integrate quickly and make a strong impression. These skills and qualities are important because they enable you to meet employer expectations, contribute effectively, and increase your chances of securing future opportunities.
