Job description

We are currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. This role will support a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) initiative by designing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service solutions using C#, .NET, JavaScript, Power Platform, Dataverse, APIs, and Azure services. The developer will partner with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions that improve business operations.
The developer will work within a collaborative Agile/Scrum delivery environment, participating in iterative requirements, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities across business and technical teams.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service.
  • Configure tables, entities, forms, views, business rules, and automated processes to meet operational requirements.
  • Integrate Dynamics 365 with enterprise systems using APIs, web services, Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure services.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Conduct unit and user acceptance testing, manage solution deployments, and optimize application performance.
  • Provide troubleshooting, production support, and technical documentation while ensuring adherence to Microsoft best practices, security controls, and compliance standards.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service or Customer Engagement solutions.
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 configuration and development using JavaScript, C#, .NET, plugins, workflows, and Power Platform.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating Dynamics 365 with enterprise applications through APIs, web services, and integration tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse, model-driven Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.

Additional Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting federal government CRM implementations, particularly for the VA or another federal healthcare agency.
  • Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and solution delivery within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps practices, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.

Security Clearance Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • All selected candidates must successfully complete a background check.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including required fingerprinting, when required for the position.
