Job description

Job Title: Intermediate Typist Clerk

Location: Pasadena, CA 91101 (Hybrid Role)

Pay Rate: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour

Duration: 6-12 Months


Account Maintenance Unit (Temporary)

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry and process routine member account documents and requests.
  • Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Process account maintenance transactions, including address changes, beneficiary changes, direct deposit, name changes, returned mail, and other member account updates.
  • Sort, organize, scan, and maintain documents and records.
  • Assist with monthly mailings and other clerical assignments.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure information is processed accurately and timely.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Basic typing and data-entry skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive member information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience performing data entry or processing financial or administrative documents is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to review documents for completeness and identify discrepancies.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced office environment is a plus.
