Position Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Conducts a variety of security and accountability related tasks as part of comprehensive Personnel, Facility, Process, Awareness and Risk Management programs.
  • Administration of facility security, environmental monitoring, and life safety systems for the Alpharetta GA campus and over 30 remote facilities in the US and abroad.
  • Prepare incident, investigative and other informative reports.
  • Oversee and document various manufacturing and destruction processes.
  • Enforce security related procedure, policy, and operating standards.
  • Fulfils a variety of internal and lottery client service level agreements and related security control tasks.
  • Conducts a variety of data entry and data backup tasks.
  • Conduct on-foot and vehicular patrols
  • Conducts emergency response, evacuation, and disaster recovery responsibilities
  • Operator level maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems and devices.
  • Conducts digital and ink rolled fingerprint applications for employees and affiliates
  • Administers first aid and conducts safety and environmental protection tasks as assigned in related plans.
  • Overseas and documents secure cargo transportation and recovery tasks.
  • Conducts bid deliveries in the US and abroad and may be assigned for temporary out of state work and or events.
  • Performs independent integrity verification for Scientific Games Corporation processes and/or programs.
  • Performs inspection and verification of ticket shipments, checks locks and seal numbers on all shipments.
  • Completes reports on damaged shipments.
  • Reviews working papers of all games to ensure proper security features.
  • Provides videotaping of drawings and verification of winning tickets.
  • Maintains video library of all drawings.
  • Oversees destruction of tickets and completes related paperwork.
  • Performs routine patrol duties and monitors security and alarms systems.
  • Manages and/or operates access system and security console equipment including maintenance of videotapes.
  • Research videotapes for various purposes; provides security escorts for visitors, contractors and employees.
  • Ensures protection of buildings and parking areas on all Scientific Games Corporation properties.
  • Investigates complaints, maintains records and takes corrective action or refers to higher authority; maintains daily activity logs and completes required reports.
  • Assists in investigations of instances of crime, trespass, damage or disorderly conduct occurring on properties.
  • Responds to security alarms, power outages and other facility related problems.
  • Implements evacuation activities and threat procedures; coordinates Scientific Games Corporation facility management and first responder programs; performs related duties as required.
  • Estimated 5% travel

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years of experience in the protection of persons or property or enforcement of security regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED
College training in criminal justice or a closely related field may be substituted for the General Experience
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Incumbents in this class will be required to possess and retain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license. Incumbents in this class may be required to obtain an Occupational License prior to employment with the Scientific Games Corporation and retain licensure during their period of employment. Incumbents in this class are required to obtain and certain a standard First Aid certificate and CPR certificate.
Education and/or Experience:
Previous law enforcement, military, private security and or related gaming industry experience preferred
Working knowledge and ability to operate and troubleshoot security systems, hardware components and low voltage devices.
Language Skills:
Good oral/written communication and public relations skills
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Within ninety (90) days be certified in First Aid/CPR, Blood Bourne Pathogens
Within thirty (120) days complete all local ISO training as outlined for the Security Department
Within (120) days complete all safety and environmental training as outlined for the Security Department.
Other Qualifications:
Must have a valid Georgia drivers license in good standing
Professional bearing and appearance
Must pass a stringent vetting process that includes initial and annual FBI fingerprint records search and credit history check.
Availability for temporary assignment to out of state campuses, locales as needed
Proficiency in Windows & Microsoft Office
