To thrive as a Temporary Dental Assistant, you need knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and chairside assisting, usually supported by completion of a dental assisting program or relevant certification. Familiarity with dental practice management software, digital X-rays, and sterilization equipment is typically required. Strong communication, adaptability, and a professional demeanor help you integrate quickly into new teams and effectively support both dentists and patients.
