14655 - QA Automation Engineer, Database Testing (Hybrid) - Austin, TX
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 2 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)

Required for 529601707 and 529601702:
  • Experience with Prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios (8+ years);
  • Experience with Creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments (8+ years);
  • Experience with Performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing (8+ years);
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies (8+ years);
  • Experience with Interpreting requirement documents and updating test documents accordingly (8+ years);
  • Experience with Analysis, planning, and management reporting functions (8+ years);

Required for 529601702 only:
  • Experience with Designing automated tests by creating scripts that run database testing functions automatically (8+ years);

Required for 529601707 only:
  • Experience designing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically

Preferred for 529601707 and 529601702:
  • Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates (2+ years);
  • Experience with Information architecture and information management methodologies (2+ years);
  • Experience with Software technology and software architecture and infrastructure components (2+ years);

Responsibilities:
    • Design and execute test plans and test cases for database applications;
    • Perform functional, performance, and regression testing on various databases;
    • Identify, document, and report defects and issues found during testing;
    • Work with development and database administration teams to resolve issues;
    • Develop and maintain automated scripts for database testing;
    • Ensure data integrity and consistency across various database systems;
    • Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for optimization;
