Overview

Based out of our corporate office in New Hampton, Iowa, Croell, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and highly efficient Data Entry Clerk to support our accounting team. This role is primarily responsible for accurately typing and entering data from a variety of sources, including scale tickets, fuel logs, inventory and fuel count sheets, invoices, and scanned documents. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining data integrity, working at a high keystroke speed, and ensuring the timely processing of all records.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter a high volume of data (target of approximately 8,000 keystrokes per hour) into our accounting system.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular reviews and verifications.
  • Support inventory, fuel reporting, and invoicing processes with timely and correct data input.
  • Support equipment meter readings, work order, and other processes.
  • Learn our basic internal coding structure.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all company and customer data.
  • Perform other administrative support duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Consent to authorization of a pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Two-year degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a professional office environment.
  • Proven data entry experience with fast and accurate typing skills (minimum expected keystroke speed: 8,000 KSPH).
  • Must be comfortable with technology.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
  • Strong punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts and project deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to flexible work hours as needed.
