Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Analyst - Chemical Databases for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Wilmington, DE. This role is ideal for a scientifically minded data professional who enjoys working at the intersection of chemical regulatory compliance, enterprise databases, SQL scripting, SDS authoring, and product labeling.
In this role, you will support high-volume Safety Data Sheet and labeling initiatives, including legal entity and branding updates tied to major business projects. You will work closely with regulatory, IT, database, and cross-functional business teams to improve data accuracy, streamline reporting, and support compliant chemical product documentation.
This opportunity offers a collaborative environment where technical accuracy, problem solving, accountability, and clear communication are valued. The role is well suited for someone who can work independently in a remote-capable environment while also partnering effectively with teams across regulatory compliance, data management, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and maintain Safety Data Sheets and product labels in compliance with GHS and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Create and execute SQL scripts to extract, transform, validate, and analyze chemical and regulatory data from enterprise databases.
- Support high-volume SDS and labeling projects related to legal entity changes, branding updates, and business divestiture activities.
- Collaborate with IT, WERCS, and regulatory teams to optimize database structure, improve data quality controls, and resolve data-related issues.
- Interpret, synthesize, and communicate technical and regulatory information to support compliant and practical business outcomes.
- Automate reporting, validate chemical database accuracy, and support cross-functional analytics needs.
