TEMP Customer Service Representative Call Center

Immediate temp customer service representative opportunity!

We are currently representing a well-established manufacturing company in Scottsboro, AL that is seeking a customer service representative II to join their team on a contractual basis, with the opportunity to become a permanent employee based on performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Receive and process customer orders via phone, fax, and edi.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to dealers, wholesalers, retailers, homeowners, and internal teams.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, shipping schedules, warranty information, and order status.
  • Coordinate with production, shipping, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain customer records, order files, templates, and account information.
  • Process warranty claims, authorize returns and refunds when appropriate, and educate customers on warranty procedures.
  • Communicate company policies regarding pricing, freight allowances, returns, labor allowances, and warranty programs.
  • Prepare account status reports and perform accurate data entry.
  • Support internal departments as needed to ensure exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of customer service or call center experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Accurate data entry and computer skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, dependable, and customer-focused with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Technical school certificate, equivalent experience, or a combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of water heater products is a plus.
  • Associate's degree and commercial refrigeration experience are preferred but not required.
