Job description

SpaLife is looking for a Creative Project Manager to help oversee the timely delivery of all creative assets from start to finish. In this role, you’ll support the in‑house Creative Team while collaborating with outside departments to ensure creative projects and production flows smoothly and releases on time. The ideal candidate is organized, a natural problem solver and able to efficiently multitask under pressure while delivering fast turnarounds. Mental agility, strong communication and impeccable attention to detail is critical in this role.

This role reports to the VP of Sales & Creative and is located at our Edison, NJ office.

We are currently growing at an accelerated rate and are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join our tiny but mighty team. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Manage creative deliverables throughout all life stages, for both internal & external needs (customer accounts & factory) via our project management tool
  • Map out full-scale project plans, project timelines, scope of work and associated communication documents. Monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Write detailed Creative Briefs for all deliverables of a new project, including both copy & design, ensuring creatives have all expectations clearly outlined and required assets are organized before starting a new project
  • Communicate with overseas team and factories through each step of production process, asking the right questions to prevent risk and delays while maintaining timelines promised to accounts
  • Final proof all creative deliverables before submission to ensure accuracy, brand standards, and account requests are met
  • Meet with sales team to discuss potential new opportunities and provide timeline insights
  • Stay abreast of the industry & market trends to provide solid insight in sales meetings and well‑informed, sound feedback on creative work
  • Schedule and hold team meetings to go over new project briefings, delegate tasks, and monitor progress on current projects
  • Partner cross‑functionally with sales, logistics, and e‑commerce teams
  • Contract and manage external and internal freelancers
  • Partner with other PMs to properly prioritize the weekly workflow and allocate resources
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
  • BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven account/project management experience required
  • Experience overseeing creative execution & workflow for CPG
  • Background in the health & beauty CPG industry is strongly preferred
  • Experienced with Microsoft Suite & Adobe programs (specifically Adobe Illustrator) is a major bonus
  • Experience managing workflows with project management tools (Monday, Asana, Airtable, Click Up, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), as well as a positive attitude and ability to motivate a team
  • Solid understanding of target audiences and their demographics to develop new items for our wide range of clientele
  • Strong sense of urgency with proven ability to work in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing environment
  • A team player with excellent time-management & problem‑solving skills
