We support an eclectic and innovative research programs that foster creative collaborations among our scientists. JILA science encompasses eight broad categories: Astrophysics, Atomic & Molecular Physics, Biophysics, Chemical Physics, Laser Physics, Nanoscience, Precision Measurement, and Quantum Information Science & Technology. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Provide experimental support to a team of graduate students and post docs building a neutral-atom continuous operating Ytterbium apparatus for scientific directions in metrology and quantum information. Tasks will include laser testing, optics testing, vacuum chamber assembling, and opto-electronics testing.
What We Can Offer
The hourly rate is 17.00 per hour.

What We Require
  • Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Physics degree with relevant courses taken in quantum optics, quantum mechanics and quantum computing.
