Job description

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of professional level of nursing duties for patients served in the clinical areas noted below.
Education:
Associates of Nursing: Required
Diploma of Nursing: Required
Certification & Licensure:
GN or Temporary Permit: Required
Registered Nurse: Required
BLS: Required
CPR: Required within 90 days.
Additional Comments:
RN assigned to Intensive Care, Step Down Unit (4N), Cardiac Obs (4C),TCU (6T), IMC (4S) and Stroke core staff must be certified in or acquire ACLS (and PALS or ENPC if in ICU) in the first year of employment and maintain current certification.
RN assigned to Stroke Unit must be certified in NIHSS within 90 days and maintain the required certification.
Float Pool and Registry must have at least one year of recent hospital experience as an RN.
