Overview

As an Art Director, you will be responsible for lead visual content-such as look/feel, lockups, and storyboards-while partnering with a copywriter to develop cohesive, persuasive campaigns that effectively align with brand strategy and effectively communicate the intended message, engaging the target audience.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with copywriters to develop compelling, on-brand creative concepts

  • Lead the visual execution of advertising across print, digital, social, and broadcast media.

  •  Oversee and guide designers, illustrators, photographers, and other creatives to ensure high-quality output

  •  Present creative ideas and campaign concepts to internal teams and clients

  •  Ensure all visual elements align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives

  •  Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality

  • Stay current on design trends, advertising techniques, and industry best practices

  • Provide feedback and mentorship to junior creatives within the team

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Fine Arts, graphic design, advertising, visual communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in art direction or design in an agency or creative environment
  • Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and diverse high-quality design work across media
  • Proficiency with creative tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
  • Experience collaborating with copywriters, designers, strategists, and clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present ideas clearly
  • Understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles
  • Attention to detail, a love of craft.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • General awareness and understanding of the digital landscape, including online campaigns, mobile experiences, and social media landscape.
  • Enthusiasm, big ideas and attention for details.
