As an Armed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $25.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day - Time

Sat - 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
  • Maintain required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
