As a Security Officer Security Clearance Greeter in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific policies, front desk procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and document access according to site protocols and security-related requirements.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, issue visitor badges, and communicate with site contacts to help support orderly access and professional front desk operations.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to supervisors or designated personnel as needed.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other assigned systems from the front desk to help identify security-related concerns and support timely response.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
