Job description


Job Title: Sr. Construction Materials Technician

Location: Denver, CO

Pay: $25–$35+/hour, depending on certifications and experience

Hours: Full-time, hourly, overtime eligible

Dispatch schedule: tart times and daily hours vary, including early mornings


About the Role

Our client is an established materials testing, inspection, and engineering services firm working on highway, bridge, commercial, and energy projects throughout the Mountain West.


Perform field testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt on active construction sites across the Denver metro area. You'll verify that materials meet plan and specification requirements, document your results, and report findings that keep projects on schedule and safe.


What you'll do:

- Perform field tests on soils, concrete, and asphalt

- Verify conformance to construction plans and specifications

- Complete daily reports and data sheets accurately

- Follow safety procedures on every site

- Travel to job sites throughout the Denver area


What you need:

- Active ACI certification in Soils, Concrete, or Asphalt (required)

- Field materials testing experience on active construction projects

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Colorado conditions

- Ability to pass a drug screen


Helpful to have:

- Nuclear gauge certification

- ATTI or ADOT certification

- ICC certifications

- Multiple ACI certifications
