Job Title: Concrete Laborer

Job Description

The Concrete laborer will assist site preparation, concrete pours, and end-of-day cleanup while working with minimal supervision. This role combines hands-on concrete labor with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that forms, tools, and work areas are properly set up, maintained, and cleaned to support high-quality commercial and industrial concrete projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare job sites each day by organizing tools, materials, and equipment needed for concrete work.
  • Set up concrete forms and related materials according to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Assist with and oversee concrete pours to ensure proper placement, compaction, and finishing.
  • Perform concrete finishing tasks, including the use of power trowels and hand tools, as needed.
  • Clean and maintain concrete forms, tools, and equipment after each use.
  • Handle all end-of-day cleanup, including removal of debris and organizing materials for the next workday.
  • Work independently on site with limited supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with a concrete crew of approximately 5–7 people to complete commercial and industrial projects efficiently.
  • Monitor work areas to maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site throughout the project.
  • Follow all site-specific safety procedures and construction best practices during setup, pouring, finishing, and cleanup.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
