Job description

Hunton Rental Solutions, a division of Hunton Group in Houston, TX, has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our organization as a Branch Coordinator in College Station. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting daily branch operations, rental execution, logistics coordination, fleet visibility, and customer support across a variety of temporary power, HVAC, compressed air, fluid handling, and electrical distribution projects. This role serves as a key operational liaison between sales, dispatch, field service, drivers, and customers to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily branch rental operations to support customer projects and business objectives.
  • Support equipment scheduling, fleet allocation, and resource planning activities.
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries, pickups, and transportation logistics with internal and external providers.
  • Process rental contracts and maintain accurate operational documentation.
  • Coordinate field technician dispatch, service scheduling, and equipment support activities.
  • Monitor equipment readiness, availability, utilization, and operational status.
  • Support emergency response mobilizations and after-hours customer requirements as needed.
  • Communicate project status, scheduling updates, and operational information to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with billing accuracy, rental closeouts, and operational reporting.
  • Coordinate fleet movement, yard activities, and equipment tracking.
  • Support preventive maintenance scheduling and equipment service coordination.
  • Monitor equipment downtime and escalate operational issues as necessary.
  • Assist with inventory management and consumable tracking.
  • Support branch safety initiatives and compliance programs.
  • Assist with key operational performance metrics and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in rental operations, logistics coordination, dispatching, customer service, or related fields preferred.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience with rental management software and ERP systems preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across operations, sales, service, and customer teams.
