Job Description
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver approved curriculum on a daily basis.

  • Evaluate and assist in the resolution of student concerns.

  • Prepare lesson plans.

  • Track student grades and attendance.

  • Lead, inspire, motivate, and advise students to actively participate in all aspects of their educational process.

  • Maintain expertise in the subject area.

  • Provide regular, accurate and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.

  • This position holds responsibility for the success of the Electrical Apprentice program. It requires that a professional attitude be modeled as well as taught and that students are given the knowledge, skill and ability to serve the community as a professional electrician. Instructors provide assessment of students through applicable monitoring and reporting processes.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must have actively performed work on electrical systems in the construction, repair or design as they pertain to the residential, commercial or industrial industry for a minimum of five (5) years.

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the National Electrical Code.

  • Two years teaching experience preferred.

  • Journeyman level of certification preferred.
