Job description

MORSE Corp is an employee owned, small business based in Cambridge, MA, Arlington, VA, and Seattle, WA with a history of fielding cutting-edge technology. MORSE boasts a specially selected team of scientists, engineers, and software developers to deliver best-in-class technical solutions that solve difficult multidisciplinary problems faced by the US National Security Ecosystem.
MORSE is looking for a Co-op IT Specialist to join our team of talented IT Professionals. Do you enjoy getting hands-on with technology? Do you enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems? In this role you will assist with IT tasks and projects, including implementing, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting a variety of technology as part of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a love of technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • IT Helpdesk ticket support
  • Onboarding of new employees
  • Manage Poly VTC Systems
  • Assisting with new system implementation
  • System troubleshooting
  • Helping to configure, manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers
  • Assist with IT projects and upgrades, including planning and project rollout support
  • Becoming familiar with IT security and data protection
Requirements:
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Working towards a BS or BA degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related subject
  • Familiarity with MacOS X, Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Understanding of Networks.
  • Experience working with virtual machines and containers.
  • Experience with shell scripting on *nix systems.

This co-op is available from September- December 2026
MORSE Corp's pay range for this role carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.
