Department Information
Stamps Health Services is an outpatient ambulatory care center that provides health care and health education to students and their spouses/domestic partners. The center is located in a state-of-the-art, 40,000-square-foot facility within the Joseph Brown Whitehead Building, next to our Campus Recreation Center. Stamps Health Services provides care in six areas: Primary care, women's health, Psychiatry, Travel/Immunization/Allergy, Pharmacy, and Diagnostic Services (lab and radiology).

Job Summary

Leads immunization processing and coordination for all incoming students within Stamps Health Services (SHS), in accordance with SHS, Institute and state/federal regulatory requirements ensuring compliance. This position will interact on a regular basis with: faculty, staff, and students. This position typically will advise and counsel: faculty, staff and students. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Review and process immunization lab results and records to ensure accuracy and appropriate update of patient chart and databases.
Job Duty 2 -
Create, maintain, and ensure efficient and effective processing immunization records in collaboration with clinical team.
Job Duty 3 -
Serve as point of contact and provide customer service for any immunization questions or concerns.
Job Duty 4 -
Coordinate and schedule immunization notices and appointments as needed.
Job Duty 5 -
Provide and assist providers in patient care efforts for matters related to immunization.
Job Duty 6 -
Assist in developing immunization procedures and policies.
Job Duty 7 -
May serve as medical assistant as needed.
Job Duty 8 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Two to three years of job related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
Interpersonal skills, basic computer/word processing skills to include email
