What is a Temporary Civil Engineering Technologist?

A Temporary Civil Engineering Technologist is a professional who assists civil engineers in planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects, but is hired on a short-term or contract basis. They may work on tasks such as site inspections, drafting plans, collecting data, or conducting tests on materials. The 'temporary' aspect means their employment is limited to the duration of a specific project or a fixed period, rather than a permanent position. This role is essential for supporting civil engineering teams, especially when additional help is needed for peak workloads or special projects.
