Kelly Science and Clinical has a new, long term temporary opportunity for an Analytical Chemist in Rochester, NY!
A Long Term Temporary Opportunity
Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
Pay: $25-$35/hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analyses using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC/UHPLC) and UV-Vis Spectroscopy.
  • Utilize sample preparation techniques and apply basic polymer chemistry knowledge in experimental work.
  • Generate, review, and interpret analytical data to support internal projects and regulatory compliance.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety standards and quality protocols.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Chemistry (or equivalent) with 0–3 years of chromatography and lab experience
  • Hands-on HPLC/UHPLC operation
  • Experience in method development, validation, and various sample prep techniques (e.g., extractions, SPE), given preference
  • Understanding of analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and polymer science
  • Instrument maintenance and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong technical writing and communication abilities
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Reliable, attentive to detail, and motivated.
  • Effective organizational and multitasking abilities.
