Job description
Seeking a hands-on Network & Security Engineer to support and eventually lead their growing network engineering practice. This client-facing role is ideal for someone with strong Fortinet and networking experience who thrives in an MSP environment and enjoys managing multiple client infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and support network infrastructure across multiple client environments.
- Manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and related networking technologies.
- Lead network deployments including office relocations and greenfield builds.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and infrastructure issues.
- Support and maintain Fortinet firewall environments.
- Monitor security posture using SIEM/SIM and EDR/MDR tools including Huntress.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and serve as a network escalation resource.
- 3+ years of Network Engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management.
- Hands-on Fortinet/FortiGate experience.
- CCNA or equivalent certification required; Fortinet certifications preferred.
