Job description

Seeking a hands-on Network & Security Engineer to support and eventually lead their growing network engineering practice. This client-facing role is ideal for someone with strong Fortinet and networking experience who thrives in an MSP environment and enjoys managing multiple client infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and support network infrastructure across multiple client environments.
  • Manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and related networking technologies.
  • Lead network deployments including office relocations and greenfield builds.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and infrastructure issues.
  • Support and maintain Fortinet firewall environments.
  • Monitor security posture using SIEM/SIM and EDR/MDR tools including Huntress.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams and serve as a network escalation resource.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Network Engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management.
  • Hands-on Fortinet/FortiGate experience.
  • CCNA or equivalent certification required; Fortinet certifications preferred.
  • Experience with SIEM/SIM and EDR/MDR security tools.
  • Strong ownership mentality and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MSP or MSSP experience.
  • Experience leading full network deployments.
  • Azure networking experience.
