Temporary Catastrophe Adjuster Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Work Arrangement: Onsite

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Claims Support Specialist II to assist with claims-related administrative tasks and customer inquiries. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level candidate or someone with customer service experience who is interested in building a career within the insurance industry.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls, working with confidential information, completing administrative tasks, and learning new processes in a professional office environment.

• Provide inbound and outbound phone support to policyholders, claimants, agents, adjusters, and other customers.
• Answer questions, provide basic claims information, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member.
• Enter new loss report information and update claims documentation accurately.
• Assist with follow-up calls and other claim file support activities.
• Access and verify policyholder and claims information.
• Prepare and process time-sensitive and confidential claim documents.
• Support claims teams working in areas such as property, liability, workers’ compensation, medical, litigation, subrogation, and material damage.
• Provide customer service support during severe weather events, including catastrophe loss reporting.
• Complete administrative duties such as filing, copying, imaging, faxing, processing mail, and ordering supplies.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings as needed.
• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
• Set follow-up reminders to ensure assigned support activities are completed.

• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred for candidates with prior work history.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable answering calls and directing customers to the appropriate person.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of East Peoria, IL.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in East Peoria,IL.
