Compensation: $35.00
We are looking for an experienced carpenter. As an experienced carpenter, you will be responsible for executing and completing projects from start to finish, working collaboratively with a team, and ensuring that work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work with clients, architects, and construction managers to execute carpentry projects
• Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, such as building frameworks, partitions, rafters, and bridges
• Cut, shape, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Manage time effectively to ensure that projects are completed on schedule
• Work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively with colleagues, subcontractors, and clients
• Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and secure work environment
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior carpenters on the team
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in carpentry
• Excellent time management skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
