Job description


Product Manager, Retool Platform
LaSalle Network is hiring for a Technical Product Manager - Retool to own the product strategy and technical operations of a critical enterprise platform. This role is ideal for a product-minded technical professional who can translate business needs into scalable solutions while also getting hands-on in Retool when needed. You'll partner with business stakeholders, architects, Security, Risk and Operations teams while overseeing third-party development partners and helping bring more platform ownership in-house.
What's the job?




  • Define and maintain the Retool product roadmap based on business priorities and technical feasibility.




  • Own and prioritize the product backlog for applications, integrations and workflow automations.




  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and user stories.




  • Oversee third-party consultants, deliverables, technical designs, timelines and performance.




  • Configure Retool applications, queries, workflows, permissions and UI components.




  • Troubleshoot issues and make routine Retool changes without relying exclusively on vendors.




  • Coordinate testing, releases, deployments and platform upgrades.




  • Evaluate APIs, integrations, data models, architecture and technical dependencies.




  • Partner with Security, Risk and Architecture teams to maintain enterprise standards.




  • Serve as an escalation point for operational issues and drive continuous platform improvement.





What's needed?




  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management, product ownership or a related technical delivery role.




  • 2+ years managing third-party vendors, consultants or managed service providers.




  • Hands-on experience with Retool or another low-code/no-code application platform.




  • Experience with REST/SQL queries, JavaScript transformers or similar light development.




  • Strong understanding of API integrations, data flows, relational databases and cloud architecture.




  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.




  • Strong problem-solving, communication and troubleshooting skills.




  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical and business teams.
