Assistant Coach, Field Hockey (PT)

Job Summary

The part-time Field Hockey Coach will assist the Field Hockey Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the Field Hockey team. The ideal candidate is a former collegiate player who specializes in coaching goalies and is looking for a career in college coaching.

Essential Functions

  • Assist the Field Hockey team during practices and games, with emphasis on session planning and collaborations with coaching staff; Coaching goalies as the primary focus of duties. 
  • Assist with student-athlete development athletically and academically.
  • Assist the head coach with other duties to ensure the success of the program such as fundraising, operations, and logistics.
  • Assist in the coordination of team travel with other lacrosse and athletic department staff. 
  • Follow all university, athletic department, NCAA, and CAA rules and policies. 
  • Assist in the planning and organization of on campus recruiting and camps and clinics.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Former collegiate lacrosse player or coach and knowledge of coaching goalies.
