?? School Audiologist – Supporting Student Access & Communication ??

?? Location: School-Based (District-Wide) ?? Hours: 22.5 per week ?? Contract Length: 38 weeks ?? Start Date: September 2, 2026 ?? Openings: 1 ?? Interview: Required — meet with SPED Director

? About the Role

The School Audiologist is a specialized professional who helps students access their education by identifying, diagnosing, and managing hearing, balance, and auditory-processing challenges. Your work ensures students can fully participate in learning, communication, and social interaction — making you an essential part of the school support team.

You’ll provide expert evaluations, manage equipment, participate in IEP development, and collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers.

?? What You’ll Do
  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for students

  • Develop and support IEP goals related to hearing and communication

  • Manage hearing-assistive technology and equipment

  • Provide case management and documentation

  • Participate in team meetings and multidisciplinary planning

  • Offer recommendations to teachers and staff to support student access

  • Serve as a key member of the school’s special education team

?? Minimum Requirements
  • Current state license as an Audiologist

  • Pediatric experience preferred

  • Minimum one year of audiology experience preferred

  • Compliance with all professional standards of practice

  • CPR certification (if applicable)

  • TB test or chest X-ray (as required)

  • Health certificate (as required)

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
