Job description

Temporary, short-term (up to 3 months) Mason position open for a commercial project in Bronx, NY. 

Mason Responsibilities:
  • Assist in building layout, install block, brick ,stone , concrete ,etc
  • Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
  • Construct and maintain rigging devices, trusses and other structural assemblies.
  • Operate and care for construction equipment, machines, and power tools.
  • Follow instructions from foreman.
  • Knowledge of building regulations and codes to be adhered to
  • Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to foreman.
Mason Requirements:
  • Skilled Mason preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to do physical labor for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in all weather.
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Preferred experience on commercial construction job sites.
  • Completion of or willing to complete Site Safety Training (SST)


Approximate job length is 2-3 months, depending on project schedule. Paying $31.25/hr.
