Job description

Brand Manager – Brand Growth & Innovation – Scott® Bath

We’re building a better world by creating Better Care and need a Brand Manager who will bring their professional expertise, talent, and drive to managing our iconic, ground‑breaking brands. You’ll help deliver better care for billions of people worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of the 3‑Year Strategic Brand Plan and portfolio; serve as the point person for the entire brand planning process.
  • Support and cascade brand building initiatives across North America, leading briefing and development of innovation programs in partnership with Business Unit Marketing and cross‑functional partners.
  • Leverage P&L knowledge and collaborate with finance to provide real‑time recommendations that protect net sales and operating profit while solving business issues.
  • Identify and lead process improvements at the brand or portfolio level; serve as the key liaison with channel and sales strategy as the voice of the consumer and brand subject‑matter expert.
  • Drive development of channel‑specific go‑to‑market strategies and plans to maximize market presence, including category management, shelving, and assortment strategies.
  • Leverage consumer, customer, and category insights to drive the 3‑ to 5‑year brand strategy and support innovation and renovation pipelines.
  • Develop annual portfolio learning plans to meet innovation objectives; champion Design Thinking and agile methodologies across KCNA.
  • Continuously develop innovation, renovation, and commercial news pipelines in partnership with R&E.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing; Master’s/MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in CPG brand management.
  • Hands‑on experience with P&L management, brand marketing execution, cross‑functional collaboration, manufacturing, product & technology development, and product supply.
  • Strong understanding of annual business planning, budget setting, and execution of those plans.
  • Expertise in brand foundational tools, consumer insight identification, segmentation, and target development.
  • Experience with brand positioning, strategy development, and concept/brief writing for product innovation, renovation, and commercial news.
  • Proven ability to lead in a matrix organization and drive collaboration across businesses and functions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading agency partners on long‑term projects.
  • Capability to synthesize insights from multiple sources into a compelling story for change.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills; entrepreneurial can‑do attitude.
  • Positive energy and strong representation of the brand internally and externally.
