Rowan University is a Carnegie-classified Doctoral University (Moderate Research Activity) with approximately 19,000 students. DESCRIPTION:

Rowan University invites applications for adjunct faculty teaching positions in Healthcare Management and Administration for undergraduate courses beginning Fall 2022. The applicant must be committed to excellence in the teaching of Healthcare Management. The School of Professional Studies offers a Bachelor of Science degree. Interested individuals must have at least a Master's Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Management, or related Public Health Management degree.

The Program in Healthcare Management and Administration will accept applications throughout the year to establish an ongoing pool of candidates. When a teaching vacancy arises, we will consider the submitted applications in an effort to staff courses such as: Introduction to Healthcare Management, Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Marketing, Healthcare Law and Ethics, Research Methods, Healthcare Delivery and Quality, Healthcare Finance and Decision Making, Strategic Management in Health Care, Healthcare Operations Management, Healthcare Organization Leadership, and related courses.

Note: All classes are currently formatted as in-person classes.

Interested individuals must have at least a Master's Degree and clinical experience

(a) the type of courses the applicant is interested in teaching;

(b) detailed information about previous teaching experience at the college level,

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $1,975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
