JOB DESCRIPTION

LEASING AGENT

Reports To: Property Manager

Job Type: Full Time

Hours Per Week: +40 hours


We’re actively seeking a Bilingual Leasing Agent who is detail-oriented, customer-service driven, and experienced in multifamily housing to join our growing team. This is a front-line role that plays a key part in creating a welcoming and efficient leasing experience for prospective residents across our apartment communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct property tours and professionally represent the community to prospective residents
  • Handle all aspects of the leasing process—from initial inquiry to lease signing and renewals
  • Accurately prepare and process leasing documents, applications, and renewals
  • Maintain up-to-date records of vacancies, applications, and leasing activity
  • Respond promptly to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
  • Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring smooth transitions for residents
  • Work closely with the property management team to deliver a high-quality resident experience
  • Support property marketing efforts and represent the brand with a positive attitude
  • Travel regularly between properties throughout the DFW area as needed
  • Perform general administrative duties and contribute to overall office organization

What We’re Looking For

  • Bilingual – Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in leasing or property management
  • Previous experience with multifamily apartment communities (required)
  • Familiarity with LIHTC regulations and affordable housing compliance
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data entry
  • Knowledge of property management software (such as Onesite, apartments 24/7and apartmens.com) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and administrative skills
  • Understanding of leasing laws and tenant regulations
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Professional, positive, and self-motivated attitude
  • Must have marketing skills
