Position Description: We are hiring bank tellers for the Baldwin County area. The role is to serve as the primary point of contact, processing customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments while providing high-quality service. Responsibilities include balancing cash drawers daily, identifying fraud, cross-selling bank products, and adhering to strict security procedures. A high school diploma, customer service experience, and strong attention to detail are required.Key Responsibilities: (MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A BANK)• Transaction Processing: Handling cash, checks, money orders, savings bonds, and traveler's checks.• Cash Handling: Maintaining and balancing a cash drawer, including buying/selling currency from the vault.• Customer Service: Answering account inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a professional, welcoming atmosphere.• Compliance & Security: Adhering to bank policies, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and identifying potential fraud.• Sales & Referrals: Promoting bank products (loans, accounts, credit cards) to meet customer needs.Requirements and Qualifications• Education: High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is sometimes preferred.• Experience: Prior experience in a financial environment.
