  • Partner with Controllers, Accounting Managers, and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Assist with internal controls, accounting policies, audit preparation, lender reporting, and compliance needs
  • Build and improve financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support better business visibility
  • Help clients strengthen accounting procedures while adapting to the unique needs of each business
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, ownership, and leadership teams to support client goals
  • Manage multiple client priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • Strong CFO, VP of Finance, Director of Finance, Controller, or similar senior finance leadership experience
  • Extensive construction industry experience required
  • Experience with job costing, WIP reporting, percentage-of-completion accounting, project accounting, cash flow management, and project profitability strongly preferred
  • Well-rounded industry background preferred, including experience across manufacturing, distribution, real estate, professional services, nonprofit, or other project-based industries
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems
  • Ability to operate as a strategic financial advisor while also stepping into hands-on financial and accounting work when needed
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working directly with business owners, executives, lenders, and internal accounting teams
  • Ability to quickly assess client needs, identify financial risks, and provide practical business solutions
