Job description

Automotive A/C Technician 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced Automotive A/C and diagnostic Technician for a well
established automotive repair shop located in Smyrna, GA. 
Daily work includes HVAC diagnostics, compressor replacement, leak detection, electrical troubleshooting and performance testing. 
Must have own tools, steady workload, modern equipment and top industry compensation. 

Pay Rate
Competitive salary ranges from 75K – 125K annually
Excellent commission potential during the spring and summer seasons

Schedule and Hours  
Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM 

Automotive A/C Technician Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Diagnose and repair automotive A/C, heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues.
  • Remove and reinstall dashboards and interior components on various make and models. 
  • Communicate repair recommendations with the Service Writer and management team.
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Follow all safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
Automotive A/C Technician Qualifications and Requirements 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with automotive A/C, heating, cooling 
  • ASE Certifications preferred
  • Strong automotive electrical diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Strong working knowledge of diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) including basic computing skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work both independently, as a self-starter and to collaborate and work with other team members.
  • Must have your own professional-grade tools and diagnostic equipment 
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
