SummaryAre you a technically skilled professional with experience in audio systems, communications infrastructure, and troubleshooting? Join our Operations team as a Audio & Communications Technician, where you will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting the systems that create a safe, immersive and thrilling environment. In this position, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of public address systems, telephones & related systems, speakers, microphones, and related infrastructure throughout the park. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and working in a dynamic environment where safety and reliability are top priorities.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair public address (PA) systems, including amplifiers, speakers, microphones, paging equipment, and associated components.Maintain and repair park-wide communication systems, including telephone systems and operational communication equipment.Install, route, and terminate wiring, cabling, conduit, and related infrastructure for audio and communications systems.Support communications equipment at rides, attractions, facilities, and other operational areas throughout the property.Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to minimize operational downtime.Read, interpret, and update technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and installation plans.Assist with the design, expansion, and improvement of park-wide audio systems.Ensure all installations and repairs meet applicable codes, standards, and company policies.Follow and enforce Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures when servicing equipment and systems.Safely operate lifts, ladders, hand tools, and testing equipment.Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, maintenance activities, and system modifications.Respond to operational calls and technical emergencies as needed.Support special events and seasonal projects requiring temporary audio or communication installations.Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety and operational excellence.Assist other departments and technical teams to support the overall operation as needed.Qualifications & SkillsPreferred SkillsStrong understanding of commercial audio, paging, and public address systems.Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting communication infrastructure.Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and system schematics.Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and industry installation practices.Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Required QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or related education preferred.Strong knowledge in audio systems installation, communications systems, telecommunications, low-voltage systems, or a related technical field required.Demonstrated knowledge of audio system design, installation, maintenance, and repair.Understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and workplace safety practices.Ability to safely work at heights of up to 100 feet.Ability and willingness to wear and utilize approved fall protection equipment.Must be able to climb ladders, work from aerial lifts, and access elevated work areas.Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Valid driver's license preferred.Available to work flexible schedules; preference for availability early mornings prior to theme park opening during summer season.Physical RequirementsFrequently stand, walk, climb, bend, and work in outdoor environments.Work at various elevations, including heights exceeding 100 feet.Use fall protection equipment and comply with all safety requirements.Ability to work in varying weather conditions.Lift, carry, push, and pull materials, tools, and equipment.Perform detailed technical work requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.What We OfferPaid trainingCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesHands-on experience with complex communications and audio systemsSupportive and team-oriented work environmentEmployee recognition programs and team member eventsComplimentary admission to attractionsDiscounts on food, merchandise, and select servicesAdditional employee perks and benefits Pay Rate: $18.00- $20.00/hr
