Job Description
Shipping & Logistics Associate (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Consistent Schedule)
Pay: $20.00/hour with retention bonus offered
Join a clean, safe, and team-oriented environment with a predictable weekday schedule. Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs.
Primary Duties
  • Clean lenses using lens cleaner, Isopropyl Alcohol, and/or Ink Remover; inspect for scratches or visual defects
  • Place appropriate literature in trays
  • Log daily/hourly production numbers
  • Scan work tickets to generate billing invoices
  • Wrap final products and prepare shipments to customers
Secondary Duties
  • Stock supplies and participate in 5S initiatives
  • Cross-train and assist in other areas as needed
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One-year certification from a college/technical school OR two years of related experience OR equivalent combination
  • Optical experience (tracing, blocking, edging, final inspection) is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent hand use, reaching, and fine motor skills
  • Lift up to 25 lbs regularly, 50 lbs occasionally
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, or use of ladders
  • Strong attention to detail and close vision focus
Work Environment & Safety
  • Clean, structured production environment
