Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Processor for a direct hire opportunity in San Diego, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced commercial or SBA lending professional who can confidently manage complex loan files from application through closing.
The Senior Commercial Loan Processor will work closely with underwriting, relationship managers, borrowers, title companies, and escrow partners to ensure accurate documentation, strong compliance, and timely loan closings. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys a collaborative banking environment, values accuracy, and wants to contribute to a team focused on service, stability, and high-quality lending execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full commercial loan processing lifecycle from initial application through underwriting, signing, wire coordination, and closing.
- Review third-party due diligence reports, including appraisals, title documents, environmental reports, and organizational entity documents.
- Ensure loan files meet bank policy, regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and compliance expectations.
- Draft and coordinate closing instructions while working directly with title and escrow companies.
- Serve as a key liaison between underwriting, relationship managers, borrowers, and external closing partners.
- Support timely, accurate, and complete commercial and SBA loan file preparation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $68,000 to $80,000 per year.
