Job description

Job Purpose Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Conducts packaging line and manufacturing inspections, as well as sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products meet company standards.

May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated, and assess draft and final label copies using knowledge of labeling regulations. Minimizes downtime by reducing production rework and recalls. Support NCR (Non-conforming), MRB, RMA, RTS materials, and other QA activities as required.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities: Possess basic knowledge of ISO 9001 standards. Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards. Read, understand, and strictly follow Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

Operate Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) machines. Identify component values accurately. Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, drawings, or diagrams.

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and standard production equipment. Support QA workflow regarding Non-Conforming Reports (NCR), Material Review Board (MRB), Return Material Authorization (RMA), and Return to Stock (RTS) procedures. Education and Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector within a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Must be available to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility for overtime and weekend work as required. Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer Salary Range (annual): $47,840 - $54,080 ($23 - $26 / hourly).
