Role Overview
We are seeking a high-impact Senior Scrum Master to serve as the critical link between product leadership and technical implementation within a complex, large-scale enterprise environment. In this role, you will do more than facilitate ceremonies; you will act as a change agent, optimizing the integration between your teams, the Agile Release Train (ART), and the broader Operational Value Stream. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of relentless improvement, balancing centralized vs. decentralized decision-making, and ensuring the seamless delivery of business value through expert coaching, mentoring, and facilitation.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation & Delivery

• Backlog & Roadmap Alignment: Partner with Product Owners (POs) to drive release and iteration roadmaps, ensuring backlogs are healthy, prioritized, and ready for execution.
• Impediment Removal: Identify and remove barriers to achievement with a sense of urgency, ensuring visibility across the organization to facilitate speedy responses to bottlenecks.
• Risk Management: Apply disciplined risk management to team decision-making, identifying potential threats to delivery and forming mitigation strategies.
Coaching, Mentoring & Transformation
• Team Actualization: Train and coach teams on Agile principles, ensuring synchronization with the broader ART and Solution goals.
• Consensus Building: Foster a culture of consensus-based decision-making, using diverse techniques to ensure all voices are heard and innovation is prioritized.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion a mindset of relentless improvement, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate the efficacy of solutions and identify growth opportunities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Connect the team with appropriate stakeholders to ensure they have the necessary context and resources to work effectively.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience:
oMinimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master within a large-scale enterprise environment.
oProven experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma).
• Certifications (Highly Desired):
oCertified Scrum Master (CSM).
oSAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
oSAFe PO/PM.
• Technical Knowledge:
oWorking knowledge of Product Management, Test Driven Development (TDD), and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Continuous Testing) pipelines.
oFamiliarity with large-scale organizational policies and complex technical system operations.
• Core Skills:
oMastery in Teaching, Mentoring, and Facilitation to support the professional growth of others.
oExceptional negotiation and communication skills; ability to present complex information confidently to executive audiences.
